Gingko Biloba Trees Bolevard - Beijing



Many articles highlighted that the charm of Beijing, is not in the city but in its rural sites and country sides especially in fall season. We visited Beijing in mid November this year and were so fortunate to witness how its natural scenery demonstrating the real autumn of the capital city, even after an unexpected early arrival of cold snap and snow fall.



The most popular place of amazing color in Beijing is at Diaoyutai State Guesthouse ancient scenic spot in Haidian District of the capital. Since late October, Gingko trees along the street have started to blossom with the magic of Autumn wind.



The long boulevard with tall Gingko trees on two sides appealing stunning beauty to most people.



Most of these Gingko trees are with a history of several hundreds or even thousand of years.



Though the thronging crowds seems quite annoying, the transient beauty is worth a visit.



Set your mind free, enjoy a walk through the boulevard to feel the harmonious and tranquil atmosphere.



The Gingko leaves all turned into golden yellow and many had fall due to the recent snow fall and raining in Beijing last 2 weeks .



The site of this ancient scenic spot has an actual history of about 800 years.






Enjoy a charcoal baked sweet potato under the splendid fall scenery in Yuyuantan Park, near Diaoyutai site, in Beijing.



The Gingko Boulevard is just along this main street in front of Diaoyutai State Government Guesthouse, which is not only a modern hotel but also a complex made of ancient royal gardens. The structure was built in 1958 to host the visiting heads of States and Government who were invited to participate in the 10th anniversary of founding People Republic of China.






Ditan Park
Another famous Gingko Biloba Trees Boulevard in Beijing is inside Ditan Park.



Along the pathway, stands a lot of towering Gingko trees, attracting crowds of people with all kinds of lens to capture the best of its beauty.






Though some of the leaves had started fallen due to the early arrival of cold breeze, it is still the spot site for many photographers, film shooter or MV producer.
