The Journey of Silk Road - China

My journey began from Beijing and ended in Beijing, covering more than 5 provinces 22 main cities, from west to far east of China, from desert to mountain to sea, from Buddhism to Islamic to Taoism, from past to present. I was as if in a time machine, passing through the 5000 years tunnel of Chinese history. The convulsions of nature was stimulating. Nothing on this earth can be exempted from natural cycle of creation and destruction.

While infatuated in its large scale of heritage artifacts, historical relics and remains, I was greatly impressed at its present development. I admired the great wisdom of ancient Chinese and at the same time, gave high recognition to the great success of the dynamic modern Chinese.

From Gobi Desert to Yellow River, Tai rocky mountain to forested Lao ranges, mountainous rustic rural areas to modern coastal cities, no scenery was overlapped or repeated. They are of entirely different characteristic and are equally breath taking. My journey progressed on sometimes with camel ride, donkey carts, hovercraft, coach, train, ferry, cable-car and flight, basic carriage to latest vehicles. Its a good experience to be at different atmosphere with different kind of people at different stations, trying on variety of local cuisines and fruits. Traveling in China, one would only know, how big is the world and how great is the earth. It was a fantastic and interesting journey!
